Theranostic nanogels: We are interested in the development of hydrophilic soft nanogels as carriers for diagnostic and therapeutic radioisotopes (in collaboration with Nuclear Medicine Department, Uniklink Aachen). Exploiting both, the passive enhanced permeation and retention effect (EPR) and the active peptide-receptor based delivery, we aim to improve the pharmacokinetics for endogeneous radiotherapy.
